Despite the cold winds and rain there is a little hint of spring in the air. The green shoots are poking through the flower beds at home (and not just weeds!), and at Chittenden locks the crocus, daffodils and something else (!) were starting to bloom. A splash of color and some sunshine made up for the lack of boats, trains and salmon!
